How this calculator works
Every field feeds a weighted sizing model: user concurrency, workload type, database platform, CPU intensity, IOPS targets, growth horizon, HA/SLA requirements and industry norms. Results include processor family guidance, ECC memory layout, RAID level, drive type, NIC speed, redundant PSU, UPS, rack units, heat output and a confidence score. Impossible combinations (e.g. large user counts with tiny RAM, or databases on SATA) surface as explicit warnings with reasons.
